Hi. You can start with the Blue book, named "GPS: Theory and Application" by Misra. This may not be the newest book, but a good read for any beginners in the field. Other good references are "Understanding GPS" by Kaplan, some other books about software receivers by Akos (which I don't remember the name). Start from those read, then you have the basic to understand recent papers, references, etc
