Based on my own research, I would have to say if there is a "key" to be found, it is the perception/understanding of organizational belonging. In police organizations, when the perception of organizational belonging disappears, it is the harbinger of cliques, which give rise to favoritism and in-group/out-group behavior WITHIN the organization -including arbitrary and capricious use of the disciplinary processes of the organization against out-group members. Therefore, unless one is inside the clique which is normally 'governed' by the administrator(s), he or she will never be happy within an organization.
Right! Is there an overall finality that could be identified to THE KEY to be defined or a Performance Management System that interrelates a set of key from different nature? I believe in the overall one that is the "belonging feeling", that can be deployed into a set of contributing "sub-keys".

I believe in the idea that happiness is the first driver of performance and I totally agree with what has been said concerning thaht. However, I don't know if happiness when it is considered as a performance driver is the same that when it is considered as an inherent human-being emotion.

I agree with the points brought out in the initial question by Dr ا. م.د. علي عبودي الجبوري. However, the sentence 'What is the key to organizational happiness?' made me think of a manager and her personal assistant who I was lucky enough to work with. They made everyone feel accepted by the department and we were all more content in our work because of their care and support.
I think they were universally liked and no-one wanted to upset them as we all appreciated how they ran the department. So we all did our best.
There were a lot of different roles and occupations under her care and she seemed to understand us all; we all got on well together.
It was fairly shortly before I retired, so have very pleasant memories of this time.
Yes, I agree with Dr Neil Dagnall. We all felt valued and our manager (described above) did not make one person seem more valued than another.
In brief I would say the key is having a great boss who can understand your role and its value towards the firm. That boss should appriciate your contribution towards the firm as well.
