I've read some article about inverse bremsstrahlung process but still it does not clear to me What is the inverse bremsstrahlung? and how it happen physically?
Free electrons can absorb radiation in a non-resonant process called inverse-bremsstrahlung, only in the process of collision with heavy charged particles such as ions or atomic nuclei. The third particle, in this case ion/nucleus, is needed for energy and momentum conservation. Both cannot be conserved if only a photon interact with an electron.
An accelerated electron can readily generate an electron. It happens all the time.
Such accelerations may occur when an electric field is applied to an electron.
It is not a great stretch of the imagination (but perhaps I lack some deeper appreciation) to imagine the inverse process - whereby an electron is boosted in energy through the absorption of a photon.

Collisional absorption of energy that occurs in inertial confinement fusion systems when hydrodynamic expansion of the plasma causes an electron passing through the field of an ion to absorb radiation, raising the energy and temperature of the electron particle.
In simple way, inverse bremsstrahlung takes place in laser produced plasma. for this process plasma should be collisional. When an electron collides with ion or passes close to ion, it absorbs radiation resulting in an increase in the energy of the electron. After multiple collision energy thermalizes and finally plasma temperature increases.
the way i understand is this....free electrons...which are running around with a certain amount of Kinetic energy, when they come near an Ion or a nucleus, slow down due to mutual attractive force, here the loss of the KE of the electron is released as a Photon..(energy is conserved) .... this is Bremsstrahlung.
The inverse process basically means, if an electron, on collision with an ion/nuclei/atom or by passing from its vicinity, slows down or looses energy, it absorbs similar amount of energy from a photon of irradiated laser.....(momentum is conserved)
