I think this kind of teaching is not self-evident. There are many undergraduate courses for technical and professional purposes. In these courses, research is not stimulated ... I also recognize the merit of good methodology books. But, I would like to know the best didactics, in the relationship with the students. How to turn students into genuine researchers?

from experience in field of teacher profesionalisation I can argue that teaching research or separte research skills helps students to tackle their research questions. By teaching about the excisting academic debates students are better equiped in making coiches regarding reserach approaches and methods.
I see it as a way of teaching by doing, enabling the development of student autonomy in the teaching-learning process.
It is extremely important to examine strategies to engage students of the information age. Flipped classes with collaborative problem-solving seems to yield the best results for us.
What is the importance of teaching research? And how to do?
The important is to develop the students' competencies, their knowledge, skills, and attitude to behave as possible as a scientist.
How to do it, using science methods gradually and in mathematics (as I do) is by developing the word of 'proof' to practical terms.
I work in healthcare and lead value analysis. Return on Investment is critical with reliable clinical outcomes. I evaluate research every day for power , risks, and cost implications and attribute value for care delivery.
Beyond work, In the divisive world we live in value of research is a skill , needed in daily lives, to think about where to find reliable sources, whether you can perform it with the mathematical formulas, or to just have a basic understanding for decision making.
My base experience to do this, if this case about teaching research, at the first you are as a teacher/instructor/facilitator, acknowledge well about your candidate/participant strength & weakness, and your part is to guide, encourage and develop them to follow your instruction according to purpose of the major, on the process you have to monitoring and evaluate their paper work (genuine or not), before giving result.
I think the technical of teach (method) is very important for teacher or lecturer.

By researching with them!!! Choose one research question and ask them to get the answer in a determined field. You guide them. When they bring in the results, you analyse it with them. When finished, you give the proper names for the scientific parts. It works so very well!! I thank Professor Giorgio Eugenio Oscare Giacaglia for teaching me to do that!
Mostly, we need an etymological sense based on the meaning. I do that in my class, and invented varies of responses.
To educate your students. How to do that? Mainly, building to live together in peace, harmonic, help each other, and any other values, conducted in class and wide community. And what will we do? Becoming example figure in every situation and condition.
For all comments or ideas, in simultaneously we need methodological research.
