The hasty introduction of GST in India has created chaos in the economy. I am collecting facts from people of various sections about the implications observed and what they foresee. So far some services typically transport seem to have overshadowed supply of goods, making the sudden price rise of essential goods like fruits, vegetables, textiles, construction material etc under the garb of GST. Businessmen, confused with it, are running after the accountants, who in turn have benefited out of the situation. If such things are tackled effectively through suitable governance, the impact on the economy could be positive and the business transactions should become transparent.
Good initiative Hope the fuel is vat-able? else it would have an inflationary effect. Exports will be more competitive. But no other government could have implemented this.
Every businessmen can get input credit so the cost would not be inflated. The only disadvantage over this system is data secrecy in the input what we use for the final product.
If Government give full protection to our businessmen without any partiality we can grow with other developed nation.
