In this context micro-livestock refers to small indigenous vertebrates (goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, poultry (chickens, ducks, guinea fowls), etc.) and invertebrates (snails, rodents, lizards, insects, etc.) both domesticated and wild genetic animal resources which may be produced on a sustainable basis for food.

Comparing the small sized animals amd large animals: Are they specific ethological, morphological and physiological characteristics that have environmental adaptation implications to counteract the effect of climate change.
The negative impact of climate change will be different from one animal to another. We find that large animals are negatively affected by climatic changes more than small animals. Because small animals can adapt behaviorally, structurally and physiologically faster than large animals.

Opinion: Generally speaking, ecological systems is boon to every living species (both micro/macro) which has fundamental role in the environment, nonetheless climate change is one inevitably important factor & has lot to say. Therefore, maintaining an equilibrium balance needs check prior to such management.
Rationale: Regarding livestock systems, it will be strategic to optimise productivity of crops and forage (mainly improving water and soil management), and to improve the ability of animals to cope with environmental stress by management and selection. To guide the evolution of livestock production systems under the increase of temperature and extreme events, better information is needed regarding biophysical and social vulnerability, and this must be integrated with agriculture and livestock component.
