You may divide your reviews into different sections according to your dependent variables. Further the reviews can be classified into conceptual reviews (thoughts, concepts etc.) and empirical reviews (research studies). Then add reviews accordingly into these sections. In APA style we write author's name and year at beginning of paragraph or mention it at the end. If you are citing someone's research study you shall write selected objectives, variables and major findings of that study. otherwise add the content related to your topic. One should add reviews in chronological order. At the end, the chapter/paper should have research trends, research gaps and conclusion.

In effect, you can use them as Leena has suggested with dependnet variables. It is crucial, however, that you write (and review) to those major defining issues.
