Perforated concrete is normal concrete but its bulk density is reduced by extracting amount of its volume by perforating. On the other hand, foamed concrete is produced by adding an air en training agent.
I agree with Alaa. Perforated concrete is an aesthetic feature (normal concrete perforated to reduce weight), foamed concreted is a lightweight concrete or reduced density concrete, where foam is entrained into the plastic mortar.
If I want to summarize the above answers, the perforated concrete is created by extracting the bulk density by means of perforation. Alaa Sir, kindly explain it please. Is the perforated concrete for aesthetic only or is there anything technical?
Foamed concrete is a lightweight concrete or reduced density concrete, where foam is en-trained into the plastic mortar according to Messaoud Saidani. What is the use of foamed concrete? Why should we create foamed concrete? What is the different use of both the concrete?
