What is the Holding capacity of corn cob?

we are doing our material balance for our plant design. We would like to know the holding capacity of corn cob. thank you

Your question is not clear. Holding capacity in what sense, grain filling or moisture please.

If it is in term of grains, it depends on the size of the cob and how it is filled. It is expected to have about 200 kernels in a good corn cob when filled. The moisture content of maize is about 12-15% depending on how dry the cobs are.
