it is very simple.

if you want hydrolysis rate or saccarification or cellulose conversion to sugar then use following formula:

Reducing sugar in mg per ml *total volume of hydrolysate*100/ amount cellulose present in biomass.

However, if you want to calculate simple sugar yield from biomass the use

Reducing sugar in mg per ml *total volume of hydrolysate*100/ biomass in mg
