Krystal, Henry; Krystal, John H.
Hillsdale, NJ, US: Analytic Press, Inc. (1988). xvii 383 pp.
Krystal explores the nature, and various ramifications, of the cognitive, expressive, hedonic, and activating aspects of emotions in part I. Part II reviews the history of psychoanalytic views of psychic trauma and understanding of trauma; Part III, the aftereffects of trauma are studied with particular emphasis on alexithymia. Following a comprehensive phenomenologic and dynamic exploration of alexithymia, Krystal concludes that posttraumatic deformation, as its core, consists of a loss of integration and, particularly, a loss of the ability to carry out self-caring and self-integrating functions.
In examining alexithymic inhibitions in the capacity to take care of oneself, Krystal demarcates, vividly and concretely, the therapeutic challenge of dealing with preverbal, nonsymbolic maternal transferences from the earliest states of life. The value of self-healing is claimed to be in its ability to be tailored to the unique experience and requirements of the individual. Self-healing or "in quietness and trust is your strength", is claimed to be enhanced by all kinds of meditations. Personally based on experience I find that the most effective strategy is to be in peer groups with those who underwent the same kind of threat or disaster. Debriefing and objective information should be given about what happened, when and why or plausible hypotheses. The cognitive understanding together with the emotional sharing with co-sufferers can eventually ease the hardship. This is my credo.
Widow affected by terrorism has under gone a very disturbing & dismal picture of such person & unfortunately if the widow has noticed his physical anguish including the nasty structure of the face including eyes the widow will certainly pass from several phobia .
Phobia is nothing but a mental disturbing disorder for which initially with psychic tech with intuitive vibratory forces one has to keep her mind calm & quite in the mist of such disturbing picture of mind .
One the smooth arrival of the picture of mind,Faith healing will certainly work under the positive direction with the successive result .
