I am going to plot some parameters in order to get some results. I need to plot PDR against Link Success Probability. I know the meaning of Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), but I need to have the exact meaning of Link Success Probability and how to calculate it.
In addition, I need to know the difference between PDR and Link success probability.
Actually link sucess depends on the model followed by the link and basically when we diferrentiate PDR from the LSP,the main thing its just a probable value that may change on conditions.
Basically LSP means how best a link can be connected and stay on to provide a better packet delivery throughout.
Generally, Link Success Probability defines that how many data packets can be sent per units of time as Ajeesh said its the computation value of throughout. Link condition is not stable it may changed depends on the network condition. so if you calculate the throughput value that will be the LSP value.
If the link has maximum capacity of bandwidth which ll be the best path for transferring data packets
Both of the previous comments are right. But if you want to do that comparison experimentally, I would suggest to log the SNR of the link and relate that to the LSP. Also log the PDR. The way to relate the SNR with LSP is something you can check through literature but I think it would depend on your transmitter and receiver settings.
