The Growth was done (in the presence of O2 at a pressure of 0.3mbar) using PLD and the cooling starts at 675oC after deposition until room temperature at 20oC/min (with increasing O2 pr from 0.3mbar to 200mbar during cooling) . I want to know the possible effect the intensity of Secondary peaks (Bi2O3/Fe2O3) might have because of quick cooling (20oC/min instead of 10oC/min cooling rate).

Hi Niranjan. If you want phase pure BFO film, slow cooling is suggested. The formation and intensity of secondary peak depends on heating temperature, target composition and rate of cooling.
