As it is known there is a magnetic field in large scale universe, so the particle undergoes a magnetic field will be different in case of expanding universe or static one as it will be in the trivial case; For example the drift of charged particle where it tends to spiral around a field line in this case what is the effect of the large scale on particle drift in a magnetic field
Magnetic Effect is due to the electromagnetic force caused by the subatomic particles. In most cases the net force that acts becomes zero due to equal force exerted in opposite directions because the spin of electrons are equally in opposite direction. But in some cases it is not so in that case if the force from one object is exerted in the direction of another object and that too exerts a force in the direction of the first object then a repulsion will occur. But if the forces of one acts towards the other while that of the other in opposite direction to the first then they are attracted. This is because the energies get repelled and fills the vacant position in the other respectively. Again if one exerts a force while the other not then there will be no attraction because there will be no interaction between the objects. Now in magnetic materials like iron upon coming in a magnetic field they get reverse magnetized and hence are attracted while other objects stay it is so they are not. Reverse magnetization happens because the field changes the direction of spin of the electrons. Magnetism will effect similarly on small and large scales. But the velocity of the attraction or repulsion will depend on the electromagnetic field hence the size of the object.
