Modularity in the architecture allows for a better cost benefit and quick response, although it is conditioned to rigorous systems and without great variations. But equally valid.
Although both answers here imply to benefits of modular architectures, my question is specially related to its effects on design capability acquisition. Any idea in this regard?
The effects on the acquisition of design capacity are only limited because in the majority the modularity does not allow much diversity. There has to be a better model study that allows a variety of projects to be more appealing and to have more demand compared to the cost benefit.
