for the gaseous reaction in a fixed bed reactor, I found two approaches. the high temperature(300-400 c) and atmospheric pressure and the medium temperature(100-200 c) and high pressure(6-15 bar). what is the effect of pressure on the reaction like selectivity, yield, contact time and etc?

Pressure is critical- depends on the reactions. I will say at higher pressures, it's unlikely you have just 1 reaction going. Take a look at the thermodynamics and see where it goes. Le Chatlier may be of help to you! Best of luck!
