Ask any greenhouse owner having an elevated CO2 level (up to 1000 ppm) what the effects are. A battery of experience unfortunately often neglected (on purpose?)
Climate change is not only CO2 rising. You can see my papers on several consequences of climate change on the photobiology of halophytes and you will see different effects in different plants and due to different climatic changes.
The elevated CO2 level will increase the photosynthesis rate if the rest of resources remain unchanged therefore the question would be around the possible changes in precipitation rate and pattern. If the worldwide changes go toward significantly less arable area it could mean lower global photosynthesis rate otherwise it would increase naturally. Therefore the situation may be different based on locations and extent and pattern of changes.
