For zoster, Valacyclovir 1 gm could be given orally every day (dose administered after hemodialysis) for 14 days.

To be honest with you, this is the first time I hear about Vanciclovir. Ganciclovir and Valganciclovir are available, however mainly for CMV disease.

Alternative to Valacyclovir are Acyclovir and Famcyclovir.
