Not sure if the link is working so generally speaking multidisciplinary can bring together insights from multiple disciplines but interdisciplinary is the *intentional* integration of multiplr disciplines. So instead of disciplines working side by side with, interdisciplinary looks to find new answers by drawing from each discipline throughout a study for instance.
