Dear Researchers,

Lab scale stirred reactors are commonly used to determine the activity profiles (grPE/grcat.hr) and productivity (kgPE/grcat) of ethylene polymerization catalysts.

Why small-scale fluidized-bed reactor is not commonly used to evaluate the activity profiles and productivity (catalyst activity/productivity versus time) of ziegler-natta catalysts in the gas phase polymerization of ethylene?

What is difference between reaction rate in the gas phase fluidized bed reactor and agitated gas phase reactor?

Thanks.
