TSK is a little more complicated (understand and develop), basically it was formulated for solving problems with multiple inputs and outputs (MISO, MIMO) by a 'consequent' in linear equation form. Mamdani is simple and intuitive, commonly is used in easy problems with two inputs and one output. Its 'consequent' normally is a linguistic term like 'high', 'low', 'zero', 'right', etc.. Greetings.
The main difference between them is that the consequence parts of Mamdani fuzzy model are fuzzy sets while those of the Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy model are linear functions of input variables !!!
T-S Fuzzy gives you an opportunity to use linear control techniques unlike mamdani and it lets you demonstrate the stablity , both of them Fulfill the purpose in the field control or in the identification.
