I am confused in the Au-oxide reduction charge density method to determine the real area of Au electrode. It seems that i have to run a CV in 0.1M H2SO4, and calculate the reduction charge and compared the calculated charge to the specific charge density of 400μC cm-2. But i could not find the detailed parameter for CV such as potential range and scan rate. Could anyone provide the detailed protocol and reference?

At pag. 213 there is a exemplo and information about how make the experiment. As Dirk Mayer told, the anodic vertex potencial is critical and this article shows a way of determine the correct vertex potencial.
