For teaching purposes, I would like to illustrate the solubility of Chlordecone (C10Cl10O, CAS#: 143-50-0) in water and organic solvants.

I already collected the molecular structure, but I need to represent the solid cristal arrangement of a few molecules in a 3D clip. I scanned the literature, but i could not find a clear description of anhydre and/or hydrated crystals of this compound.

I would be grateful if someone provide me the CIF file of this crystal anhydre and or hydrated. Or at least the description that would allow me to build the crystal arrangement of molecules on blender 4.2.

Thanks in advance.

Olivier

PS: i Found that Mirex (C10Cl12) an near similar bishomocubane showed Xray diffraction spectra compatible with a cubic structure of 12 A size ? But no indication if cubic structure would be compatible with the replacement of Cl2 with O2 and the arrangement (Chlordecone molecule is about 6-7A size).
