I encountered following:
Polyethyleneimine different concentration: 0.5,1.0,1.5,2.0 wt%
got linear growing thickness of multilayer when used 1.0 wt%.
when used 1.5, 2.0 wt% after 3 layers it starts to drop down increment.
My thinking:
With increasing concentration ionic strength of the solution increases and charges starts to repeal each other and hence multilayer starts to stop grow further.
Is it correct explanation? If so please help me to find any document which mentions such findings.
