What is the conduction band energy of Fe3O4?

How can I determine conduction level in experiment? I read a paper that report -5.73ev but I am not sure about that.

There is a recent book edited by Puzyn and Leszczynski entitled "Towards Efficient Designing of Safe Nanomaterias". In chapter 11 they talk about this.
