Pritish, I don't think this question makes sense. There is no "source" of energy, but everything in the Universe is a manifestation of energy and interactions.

Thanx Tapia, I wanted to ask that since everything is manifestation of energy there shoul be something which should be common in everything, what is that common thing??
At the largest scale the Universe itself and everything it contains is a manifestation of energy, as I already said. Thus one could argue that the Universe itself is the "source". But if we talk about this issue in practical terms of generating energy (and heat) for human consumption, one can state that the aim in any form of energy production is to minimize the entropic part of free energy, because it's the part that cannot be used to perform work. Thus, one can state that the common source of (usable) energy is the non-entropic part of the free energy.
Energy does not exist in itself. Energy is an equivalent relation that we can established between different type of field configuations in their ability to produce work. Energy is like money in an market economic system.
Your question: " Do all forms of energy have anything in common??" If I understood your question correctly, the answer is yes; they can all change from one form to another for example Potential to kinetic, kinetic to heat energy and so on and in doing so they all subscribe to the law of energy conservation.
Your first question:" What is the common source between all forms of energy??" If you mean by this what is the source of all forms of energy then Tapio has already given you an answer: "one could argue that the Universe itself is the "source". The question now is: What is the ultimate source of the universe? Something to ponder over perhaps....
Since the energy can never be created and can never be destroyed we can safely assume that it must be there when this universe started or whatever the begining was and we can also safely assume that everything which is created is only the cahnged form of that energy so it must be in everything, I just wanted to ask what is that common thing which resides in everything???
In a market economy, a standard good which is called money allow to provide a value/measure to every other goods. The amount of money you possess is also a measure of the social energy you have. If you have 1 billion dollars, you can decide to build a bridge and to mobilize hundred of thousand of people around the world for the extraction of the resource, their transportation and the construction of the bridge. Money allow to established equivalence between all goods in terms of this standard unit. In physics, energy is a common unit which allow to measure the amont of work that different field configuration allows to potentially produced. The more energy has a configuration and the more potential change against the natural direction of entropy we can effect to another field configuration. Energy in itself or money in itself does not exist. It is always a measure of potential change against the normal flow of things.
E=MC^2 You need to be more specific. all that exists has energy either in a conserved state as a mass, or as a wavelength. Because of diverse applications and uses of energies, to consolidate them all, it is only easiest to say what they 'all' have in common is that they exist.
Thank you :) Nature is violent, and violence is an instrument of nature. The violent release of splitting atoms is turned into electricity, the violent tearing apart of hydrogen from oxygen when water is split is still used as a hydrogen/oxygen production source. However, to be fair, I believe I understand what you are implying by the comment.
I was generalizing the fundamental simplified energy equation as a way to show that energy is present in all things, and never have we found truly an 'empty' space--and to hopefully get some clarification on what the author is attempting to discover from the question.
No one knows. For most, in theory a black hole is a dense matter. So dense, that the gravitational field is too strong for conventional wavelengths of light to escape. Total vacuum would not make sense because a vacuum would no longer be a true vacuum if it 'eats' anything. 'Infinite' is a placeholder word, as it would imply no beginning or end, which is logically implausible. Interesting enough: high energy waves do escape black holes, and a larger energy release is evident when a black hole 'eats' another body. My personal belief concerning a black hole is that is a form of matter that can only exist when a large enough collection of matter creates a powerful enough gravitational field for the matter to exist, and converts new matter into that consolidated construct. What such a molecule would look like I have no idea, but it would be extremely heavy, and have a very large atomic number.
Maybe this form of matter is the same as what exist at the origin of the cosmos so that a black hole process is a local return to the origin. At the origin all space and time where together and maybe all black holes are together. Just a thought.
Not sure. We need greater capabilities for study. The future is an open book, and existence is a miracle mystery. The proposed theories are just a best guess of what we can see. what we do not see: we can only dream. so: chase your dreams, and enjoy the mysteries :)
There's a strange force around the cosmic galaxy wherein we exist. Everything is connected to everything in an indecipherable way. Light and Gravity, heat and wind, all held in bond by a huge force and Christianity thinks He's God. But like my fellow colleague said, the future is an open book and a mystery yet unraveled. Lets sit back and watch
I like all the answers particularly Louis Brassard`s Joule based monetary system. I was a strong advocate of that idea myself but was blown away with a vulgar demise of bitcom very recently. Energy should be more respected if the monetary unit was joule and all virtual money would have had some value. Any created mater is the common source of energy and vice-verse.
