What is the boundary condition used in soil - track interface in FE modeling?

Hi everyone! I am doing FE dynamic modeling (MIDAS GTS NX) of soil and railway track to predict the stresses on soil due to railway borne ground vibration. I am really confused about the boundary conditions of both soil and railway track system. Could anyone please guide me through this?? If you have any experience in this area please leave a message. You can apply "bonded contact" if you see the deformation negligibly low and the processing time does not increase. A more accurate approach is to apply "frictional contact". In this case, you will need the coefficient of friction between the two surfaces.This coefficient depends on whether the road type is ballasted or not. In addition, important factors such as road geometry (curve radius, etc.), train operating speed and axle load, sleeper type will also need to be modeled correctly.
