I tried to extract information from Clinicaltrials.gov, but seems difficult to extract drugs names. Drug names are present either in title of the study or in intervention columns.
Any suggestions ? (except ChEMBL, as i already have ChEMBL data)
Via clinical trails.com
Do you mean clinical trials.gov?
Yes. Is the identical home homepage.
I checked both clinical trails and clinical trials. It seems not possible to systematically extract the information what i want.
Ideally, I wish to have following output for all compounds in my database:
Compound name (or ID), clinical phase information, source publication or study ID
For example: Azathioprine, phase 2, NCT02939573
Azathioprine was infact present in 234 studies (mostly in combination with other drugs) focusing on phase 2, phase 3, phase 4.
i.e. NCT01235689 is phase 3 study, Drugs: Prednisone and Azathioprine
NCT01235689 is infact older than NCT02939573, confusing me to make decision.
Lastly Azathioprine is mentioned in combination with other drugs, so i guess i cannot state: Azathioprine (solely) is in phase 2.
