What is the best way to synthesize beta-glucosyl Yariv reagent used for AGP isolation ?

I would like to isolate AGP from plant tissue with Yariv reagent. Should I use the commercial kit or would you recommend any protocol for synthesis of this reagent? I must admit, that I have used commercial available reagent, but unfortunately I’m not satisfied with results. I have the impression that it dose not work, even in control reactions with Arabic gum.

I will appreciate any advise.
