What is the best way to spike soil sample with Arsenic without too much change to the microbial population (and maintain its oxidation state) . The target concentration is 0 to 2,500 mg As/kg soil? Do I spike a small percentage and mix with uncontaminated soil, moisten the entire soil once (to field capacity), moisten at interval (let air dry each time) until the desire concentration is attained, or...?
