We use for primary breast cancer culture the Magnetic cancercstem cell separation kit human CD24-/lowCD44+ cancer and after separation of cells we detected CSC with antibodies to Aldehyde Dehydrogenase 1, BMI-1, CD24, CD44, CD133 and CXCR1/IL-8 RA.

Thanks Ivanov for BCSC. Yes, for breast cancer stem cells (BCSC), I noted that CD24-/CD44+ and CD45- are marker for them.

How about just to isolate human breast cancer epithelial cells from culture flask because I used biopsy tissue. I am not sure currently growing epithelial cells are mixture of normal breast epithelial cells together with tumor breast epithelial cells. I just want tumor breast epithelial cells at this stage. What I found in a paper with regard to breast tumor epithelial cells markers were MUC1, CD24 and CD44. Then also cofirm telomerase activity. Are these OK or Any other easier way to isolate and confirm for breast tumor epithelial cells.

I need to isolate breast cancer epithelial cells from primary breast cancer tissue culture from biopsy sample. I got them in flasks but i am worried that they might be a mixture of normal cells and tumor cells of breast epithelial cells. Can someone help assist this if you are working on this field too.

After isolation i would need to prove that they are tumor cells from breast too. Right?
