" Healthy and fractured seeds were germinated on Petri dish 9 cm in diameter for three days after surface washing with water for three days. The seedlings were transferred to a hydroponic medium containing Hoagland's solution and applied for 15 days on the specimens for one week after the seedlings were transferred to the hydroponics under drought stress treatment using polyethylene glycol and hydrogen peroxide. To prevent severe stress due to drought stress (osmotic potential) in hydroponic cultivation, this stress increased gradually over 15 days at a rate of -0.2 bar/day osmotic potential to -3 bar/day, based on Michel Kaufman's equation (1973). Oxidative stress was applied by treatment with hydrogen peroxide containing Hoagland nutrient solution with 1 mM hydrogen peroxide"
