Boundary element method (BEM) is a good means of solving equivalent permeability tensor of fractured rock. For any "boundary element method issue” ，obtaining boundary node coordinate is a key step. All the fractures are simplied as rectangle with certain position and size. Connected fractures are considered to be the same region. Here is question: what is the best way to get boundary node coordinate,e.g. case in attachment, especially in the case of many fractures cluster? How should i design algorithm to achieve this?
