What is the best way of obtaining the films without damage and what is the best release agent to be used? How is it applied to the casting frame?
It is sometimes difficult to obtain the films because they stick to the casting frame or petri dish. Any suggestions will be very valuable and appreciated.

The method is solvent evaporation method.could your explain some key points to be considered when peforming the experiment mostly in order that the film do not stick to the frame and can easily be removed.is there any special substance added to the frame to facilitate the release of the casting?if so whats that substance?
i heard that PVA can act as a release agent,how good is it and is there anything better?
You can use multiple release agent, the best being silicon oil which can be used as as a releasing agent for high temprature curing.
You can use any paint brush to just dip in the release agent and coat your petri dish or casting frame.
