Hello, I'm currently working on my final project about carbon stock estimation in seaweed. After taking the samples from the cultivation area, I have to dry them with oven to obtain the biomass. But I couldn't find a reference or precise methodology of drying seaweed species Kapppaphycus alvarezii. Anyone who have did research about oven-drying method in seaweed could help me to determine the optimum temperature when drying Kappaphycus alvarezii?

Because as far as I looked up to it, I found different treatments on the 0ven-drying method. Some people used 60 degrees Celsius, some other people used 40, 50, or even 80 degrees Celsius temperature. Is there any side effect of higher or lower temperature on drying seaweed in the oven?

Thank you in advance
