I need to inject nano-clay to some kind of collapsible soil (silty loess) to stabilize and strengthen it. I can't use water since this soil is moisture sensitive and water may dissolve the bonding between soil particle and causes collapse. I prefer this solvent be volatile and go out of soil easily.
I could use ANY kind of help like "is there such a solvent?" or "any other way to inject nano-clay to soil specimen?"

I think there is no adequate solvent to dissolve montmorillonite. The only way to do this is to break the siloxane bonds by thermal degradation at high temperature.
