I have a binary polymer blend, compounds of thermoplastic polycarbonate(PC) and PMMA. I want to eliminate PMMA from my system in order to find the microstructure of the blend. Which solvent is the best for eliminating PMMA? How much time does it take to break down PMMA from this binary system. The important point is that this solvent shouldn't damage polycarbonate.
B.L.N. KRISHNA Sai you can use different solvent combinations for better solubility of PMMA. Try Toluene, with Toluene to PMMA wt% 1:5.
