the residue of a yellow substance in cleaning solution is a big problem . we washed the reactor more than 5 times with methanol but the HPLC test showed an impurity that its pick is after finasterid's. what is this impurity? is it possible that it be impurity C

you can used ultrasonic to clean the reaction if that possible...

or preparation cleaning solution ( chromic acid) by dissolving 2.5 g of dicromate in less amount of D.W then addition 100 mL from concentration of H2SO4.... that produced chromic acid as orange -red color.....
