I recommend you use Nvivo software. It is good for data analyze in the field of human and social sciences.

Or else, you can use SPSS, or MAXQDA, or atlasti.

NVivo is OK. I wonder could it not have a more intuitive interface. I had to do quite a lot of training, and i don't think i ever got full use of the features.

Nvivo is cool, the latest version has more features and functionality

I am using MAXQDA and I can recommend it because it is very flexible and you can adapt it to different analytic strategies or methods. In the newer versions you directly can transcript in MAXQDA, so you don´t have to import documents from other programmes. The main functions are easy to learn (the good online training material helps a lot), but it takes some time to get to know all the functions and features available. In functions and price MAXQDA is about the same as NVivo and Atlas.ti, which means: not too cheap.

There are some free programmes as well. A colleague just recommended the page NGUYEN Trung Hiep just posted above. FreeQDA looks quite handy but I just started trying it out.
