What is the best protocol for the isolation of mitochondrial DNA from blood and several tissue samples of fish species?

I am explaining my topic because several methods have been given for a number of different tissue samples for purification of mitochondrial DNA. I want to observe the genotoxicity effect of mercuric chloride on fish models on the basis of mitochondrial DNA damage.

you can use a manual differential centrifugation method. Though it requires the centrifugation speeds above 10000 RPM but seems very easy to perform at lab. scale.

Also, there are several kits available for this purpose.
