Hi Benjamin,

The said simulation required Finite Element Analysis which can be performed for both of them. However, while Abaqus is more of a matrix-solver, Ansys provides more solver options for the FEA with controlled constraints. I will recommend using the latter to set your simulation conditions to more more accurate.

Dear Benjamin, both ANSYS and ABAQUS is finite element based software ..among these two software ANSYS is simple and easy to simulate your problem..ABAQUS is bit tough to simulate the problem..also, the temperature related problem ANSYS gives better solution..ABAQUS is good for stress analysis..ok all the best in your research..
