I have synthesised a salt by the replacement of BOC group to TFA. The problem is that the component absorbs moisture in the air instead of turning into solid form. Is there any possible way to dry this kind of salt. I have used rotary and used diethyl ether as well to dry the component but its all in vain.
Vaccum drying device without the presence of air may be ideal for removing moisture from such material.
Moisture reduction from agricultural commodities in addition to drying temperature is also subject to prevailing relative humidity. The drying or storage relative humidity needs to be low enough for drying to continue as desired. This because commodity moisture naturally equillibriates prevailing relative humidity at the storage temperature. The relative humidity during drying and storage needs to be low enough. This is because of the hygroscopic nature of dry commodities under relatively high relative humidty. Following achievement of drying, hermetic packaging is imperative for storage against moist absorption from external atmosphere and for maintenance of low moisture and low relative humidity in ther hermetic pack.
