What is the best method to get a nice 1x1 terminated (100) SrTiO3 surface in UHV?

I am not that worried on whether it is TiO2 or SrO terminated, although it would be nice to know which. So far, the most promising method seems to be Bi deposition followed by low T annealing (say 300C) and NO2 oxidation. [following Kudo et al, JVSTA 11(1993)2649 and others]

And I suppose we should really do the water ultrasound cleaning+BHF treatment +annealing in O2 sequence outside UHV beforehand...(Koster, APL73(1998)2920). Would that on its own give already an ordered 1x1 surface? (without the Bi method).
