What is the best method to convert IX resin IRA 400 from chloride form to OH form?

I used NaOH (1 M and 2 M) to remove Cl- from the surface of IRA 400 and it is taken long and repeated washing to do that. Is there reliable method based on experience for this resin to convert it to OH form
