What is the best method for synthesis of SrAl2O4: Eu, Dy?

recently I investigated the synthesis of SrAl2O4:Eu, Dy by solid state reaction at 1100 C. But synthesiszed pigment didn't show phosphoros. what kind of alumina, stransium carbonate, Eu2O3 and Dy2O3 have been used for synthesis of this phosphoros pigment? I used from high purity alumina(alpha) with 1 micrometer particle size. yours sincerely
