What is the best free software to draw different experimental schematic diagrams and crystal structures manually??
For example,
(1) I want to draw different crystal structures like cubic, tetragonal, hexagonal etc. manually, and
(2) I want to draw a schematic diagram of a whole experiment, for example, the schematic diagram of the preparation of thin-film Perovskite Solar Cells or else.

In my opinion the best drawing softer is Adobe Photoshop, consequently Adobe Illustrator. They give you the space and the tools to create whatever you want, in any artistic field. But if you want to have a 3D version of your designs/drawings I suggest using CAD.
I think best program for 3D schematic representations is Sketch-Up. It has versions on internet and easiest way to create 3D apperience. Also, there are many tutorials at any level of knowledge. It creates surfaces, not solids. So, it is simple, yet excellent for schemes. But, if you want further graphic representations, Adobe Photoshop will help as a second step of creating scheme.
