I'm trying to cold-press tungsten to a dog-bone sample, can I get a recommendation of a binder that works well for W-powder. Thanks
Perhaps, you could try a wax binder that is derived from paraffin or polyethylene glycol. You might want to check further to see if this suits your purpose.
You should also go through this article maybe you can get further guidance: Article Microstructural modifications of polyethylene glycol powder ...
Respected Sir,
For cold pressing you can use below mentioned binders:
1. Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA)
2. Stearic Acid
3. Zinc Stearate
4. Polyethylene Glycol
Hope this information is useful.
