There is no 'best' or 'easy' synthesis of CNT's.  I'm sorry to disappoint you.

It is true there is no easy way to do it. There are a few "harder" ways to do it including arc discharge, laser ablation, HiPCO, and chemical vapor deposition (CVD). From equipment point of view. chemical vapor deposition (cvd) would probably be the easiest to find and use.

However, this will take time because a successful growth requires parameter optimization. Growth results are different in different furnaces. 

So the best way is to buy them.
