I would like to know the average turn around/review time of Transactions in GIS. Let me know if anybody has any experience.
Probably a little faster than that in my experience, I suspect you would get reviews back within 2-3 months in most cases.
TGIS is faster than average, in my experience. First feedback within 3 months; publication within 6 months is possible. The quality of the reviews is also above average.

About 4 months for first response and if you received major comments it also take 2 months more.
Just noticed the thread. For me it was 2-3 months until first decision, and another 2 for the paper to first appear online. Assigning it to a permanent issue also took around 2 months.
