In the context of organizational strategy formulation and implementation, the ABV provides a model for researching decision makers' focus on issues and answers of their organization, based on certain attention structures or values that influence what issues and answers they choose to respond to or ignore. It supports the idea that managers/leaders play a major role in deciding what activities a firm will focus on and that organizational behavior is determined by decision makers. In the context of my study on digital marketing implementation of Nigerian SMEs, ABV provides a framework for exploring SME leaders (as decision makers) focus on guiding digital marketing strategy formulation and implementation as an organizational activity for marketing innovation.
